Carlos Serrano is the Founder and Pastor of The Promise Land, a Christian Ministry in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Pastor Carlos and his wife Zayda, have been faithfully serving the Fernandina Beach area since 2002.

Carlos was born in 1951 in Puerto Rico, in 1959 he moved to New Jersey where he lived for most of his life. In 1987 he moved to Fort Myers, Florida where he submitted his life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. For the next 10 years he was a Member of the Lehigh First Church of the Nazarene, where he served in the local body in various positions. In 1997 Carlos was called to move to the Jacksonville area where he served at the Potter's House under the spiritual mentorship of Bishop Vaughn McLaughlin and his wife.

Carlos graduated with a bachelor degree in Biblical Studies from Logos Christian College and was ordained under The Potter's House Bishop Vaughn McLaughlin. Since becoming a full time Pastor, Carlos devotes his time to being a teacher, counselor and a friend to all that call on him. Carlos and his wife, Zayda have 5 children, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
